Breaking News: What’s Next for Employee Resource Groups
Thursday, September 27, 2012 – 12 pm Pacific Time
1 pm Mountain | 2 pm Central | 3 pm Eastern

Employee resource groups, affinity groups, and business groups have strategic importance for their organizations. These groups help employees connect and network, create more productive workplaces, and help companies recruit and retain top talent. Out & Equal works closely with ERG leaders to make companies better places for LGBT employees. During this Town Call as Out & Equal’s Director of Community Empowerment, Nancy Mace, shared the results of the 2012 Out & Equal Employee Resource Group Survey. This biennial survey of employee resource, business resource, and affinity group leaders gathered information about issues, concerns, and best practices which were then incorporates into this year’s Workplace Summit and 2012 – 2013 Out & Equal organizational programming. This Town Call will also explored next steps for employee resource groups. We examined ERG operating methods and explored the contributions of ERGs in the workplace.
