Local Event – EBabes and Out & Equal

Selisse Berry with Lynn, EBabes organizer

EBabes, East Bay Lesbian TGIF, is a first Friday of the month event that gives lesbian women from all over the Bay Area and opportunity to socialize and connect, to see old friends and make new ones. It is a social event with a community consciousness.

Throughout 2012, EBabes is teaming up with non-profit/not-for-profit lesbian-owned businesses and lesbian artists to give them a platform so others can learn about what they are doing in the community, and how to support them.

EBabes invited Selisse Berry, Founding Executive Director of Out & Equal, to the event this past Friday, August 3. This was the first event collaboration between EBabes and Out & Equal. Selisse had an opportunity to talk to the attendees about the mission and vision of Out & Equal. She discussed the many resources and programs that Out & Equal provides for LGBT workers to promote inclusivity in their own organizations.

Thank you to EBabes for a great event!  To learn more about EBabes, visit their new Facebook page!
