The Accenture “Skills to Succeed Award” Call for Nominations: May 11th Deadline

Out & Equal Workplace Advocates, teaming with Accenture, introduces the Skills to Succeed  Award. This award honors an organization working to equip people in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) communities with employment skills.  The Skills to Succeed Award will be presented at the Global LGBT Workplace Summit in London in July, 2012.

Accenture’s global corporate citizenship focus is Skills to Succeed, which by 2015, will equip 250,000 people around the world with the skills to get a job or build a business.  Accenture and its people work with nonprofit and community organizations to help build individual’s work skills, increase the economic vitality of their communities and open doors to employment and independence.

The Accenture Skills to Succeed Award
Accenture and Out & Equal wish to recognize an organization that specifically improves the LGBT community’s economic vitality by creating, supporting or implementing program(s) to help equip LGBT people with the skills they need to build a business or get a job.
