Claudia Brind-Woody, vice president for Business Development for the IBM Global Industrial Sector, enhances demand generation and pipeline development by connecting the brand solutions from the IBM hardware, software and services divisions to the specific needs of the industries in the Industrial Sector: Chemical & Petroleum; Automotive; Aerospace & Defense; and Electronics.
She recently returned from an international assignment in Europe as the VP and managing director for the Nokia and Nokia Siemens Networks accounts worldwide. As the managing director, she was responsible for integrating IBM offerings and research to provide global solutions for the client.
During this assignment, she was based in Finland where she functioned as the IBM senior executive and single point of contact for both Nokia and Nokia Siemens Networks. Claudia holds a JD degree, magna cum laude, from Georgia State University, a MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, and a MS from the University of Tennessee. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Mary Baldwin College where she earned her BA summa cum laude. She has completed PhD course work in organizational development and is admitted to practice law by the State Bar of Georgia.
