Home Depot to sponsor Ally Empowerment Tour in Atlanta

Stephen Gould, Associate Director of Networks!

I am personally very excited to announce that The Home Depot will be joining McKesson as a major sponsor and host for our Atlanta stop of the Ally Empowerment Tour on June 23, 2011.  The Home Depot has continued to show its support for the LGBT community even as it faces threats from radical activist groups, and this latest demonstration of support shows the depth of their commitment to inclusion.  Thanks to The Home Depot!

The Ally Empowerment Tour is taking place this summer in five more cities, each with an Out & Equal regional affiliate.  Each stop on the tour will feature Dr. David M. Hall, author of “Allies at Work,” demonstrating why and how allies can be an important part of workplace equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees.  Dr. Hall will also be joined by senior leaders at Out & Equal, and executive sponsors and allies from major corporations in each region on the tour, who will speak on their experiences as well.
