Mix, Mingle, Give!

by Stephen Gould | When Out & Equal talks with ERGs about the ways in which they can be successful and engage their constituents, one of the things we emphasize is the value of partnering with the community. This support can have an incredibly positive impact on the local community as well as on the ERG. It is truly a win-win situation.

And this can be especially powerful when ERGs come together through one of the Regional Affiliates. One of these efforts that has a big impact is happening next week here in San Francisco. Each year, 12 ERGs come together to produce an event—Mix, Mingle, Give— in which 100% of the proceeds to directly to support local LGBT non-profits. This year, Mix, Mingle, Give will be supporting the San Francisco LGBT Community Center, providing LGBT programs and important social services to the LGBT community; the Transgender Law Center, delivering legal and advocacy services for the transgender community; and the Trevor Project, working to prevent suicide among LGBT youth.

So if you are going to be in San Francisco on June 2, be sure to purchase a ticket, support this great event, and connect with over 600 colleagues here in the Bay Area.  Register here.
